Site Survey

During the site survey, the following activities are performed by Runcom's FAEs to examine the base station installation site:

  • Panoramic photographs of the scene viewed by each sector are taken
  • RF obstacles (buildings, hills, etc) are examined and reported
    Exact coordinate position of each antenna (X,Y,Z) is measured
  • Position of neighboring sites is evaluated and studied
  • The construction and site physical infrastructure is reviewed for planning the equipment mounting
    (antenna and outdoor base station units).

 

The site survey activity is mandatory for the network planning process.
